Dean McHugh, District 6250 Governor, visited our club on November 18th. Rotary Serving Humanity is RI President, John Germ’s theme for the year.
McHugh focused his remarks on three things: 1) Youth Exchange–he participated in an exchange to Columbia as a college student. That experience was important to him and motivated him to encourage participation by clubs in Rotary Youth Exchange. 2) Rotary Foundation–the Foundation helps Rotarians do great things. 3) Membership–10% of membership leaves per year due to a variety of reasons. He challenged each member to bring in at least one person as a guest in the next 12 months.
