You are invited to spend an afternoon sampling domestic and international brews and wines. It will be a time to socialize, relax, and enjoy some good entertainment while you sample a variety of beers, wines, and salsa. Bring your friends and your favorite homemade salsa to see if you will be named the winner and wear the “sombrero”.
The Caledonia Bluff Country 2013 Brew Fest is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Houston County Fairgrounds (104 History Lane) in Caledonia.
Admission is $25.00 per person.
Proceeds from Brewfest will be used to support community projects.

Brewers - Abita, Alaskan, August Schell, Boulevard, Bud Light Lime-a-Rita, Bud Light Platinum, Capitol, Flat Earth, Grand Teton, Horny Goat, Millstream, Odell, Ovalde, Redhook, Shock Top, Smirnoff, Sprecker, Stevens Point, Summit, Tallgrass, and Widmer.
Wine - A variety of wines will be available to taste.
Salsa Contest - Bring 1 quart of salsa (fresh or homemade or canned). For more information regarding the salsa contest, please contact Naomi at (507) 724-2524, or via email at vnfruechte@q.com. Salsa Entry Guidelines and Miscellaneous Information: Entrants must have a ticket to the Brew Fest in order to compete; bring 1 quart of homemade salsa in a bowl; salsa may be frozen or home canned; bring a copy of the recipe printed or typed on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet to the Commercial Bldg. at the Fairgrounds by 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13th; tasting will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; each person in attendance will receive a ballot for voting, chips and paper plates for tasting will be furnished; a first and second place award will be given to the salsas receiving the most votes; first place award is a sombrero; second place award is a pair of maracas.
